New On The Shelves: March

With spring around the corner, brands are ahead of trends, launching fresh flavours and new limited-edition lines. From confectionery to soft drinks, here’s what’s new on the shelves this month.

Rowntrees

In time for the warmer weather, Rowntree’s have launched fruit flavoured lollies. Made with real fruit juice, flavours include Fruit Pastilles, Sour Watermelon, and Mango.

Yo! X The Flava People

The Flava People and Yo! Have teamed up to launch four Crispy Chicken Kits. Available in four flavours, Korean Style Sweet Chilli, Japanese Style Sweet & Sour, Salt & Pepper with Gochujang Jam, and Katsu Curry.

Walkers

Walker is back with a new flavour… Chilli & Cocoa. The new flavour joins the Walkers Sensations line-up. The limited-edition crisps will be available alongside old favourite Slow Roasted Lab & Mint Sauce, which has been relaunched.

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee

Popular iced coffee brand, Jimmy’s has launched Jimmy’s Affogato on a stick. Made with coffee ice cream, rich coffee swirls, all wrapped in coffee sorbet.

McVitie’s

McVitie’s has launched Digestive Creams – digestive biscuits filled with either vanilla or chocolate cream.

Pot Noodle

Pot Noodle is evolving. The brand has moved away from pots and has launched noodle blocks. The blocks contain noodles and an upgraded seasoning, for the same great flavour. Available in Chicken & Mushroom, Original Curry, Beef & Tomato, and Bombay Bad Boy.

Birds Eye Editions

Birds eye has launched a new chicken thigh range called Editions, with three bold, globally-inspired flavours. Flavours include Asian-Inspired Teriyaki, Memphis Style BBQ, and Zesty Lemon & Herb.

Drinks – Alcoholic

Absolut x Tobasco

Absolut  and Tabasco have joined forces to launch a spicy vodka globally. To achieve the spicy kick, the red pepper used to make Tobacco sauce is blended with classic Absolut Vodka.

Grey Goose

Grey Goose has launched a new Berry Rouge flavoured vodka, made with handpicked berries at the peak of ripeness, sourced from across the Mediterranean.

Drinks – Non-Alcoholic

Dash X Perelló Olives

Ash sparkling drinks has partnered with Perelló Olives to create a limited-edition Clean Dirty Martini Kit. In the kit is Dash’s Lemon sparkling water, Perelló’s Manzanilla Picante Olives, embroidered cocktail napkins, olive picks, and Martini glasses.

Sentia Spirits

Sent Spirits has launched an alcohol-free cider, sold as a functional alternative to help with relaxation and social connection. The cider is made with British cider apples such as Dabinett or Yarlington.

Fanta

Fanta UK has made its own version of Fanta Grape and it’s now available in bottles and cans in the UK.

Coca Cola

Coca-Cola has launched new nostalgic flavour Cherry Float in the UK, as an expansion of its Cherry range. The new Cherry Float comes in both full and zero sugar and is available in cans and bottles.

Monin

Monin has introduced two new syrups into the UK market that can be used in both hot and cold drinks. Customers can choose from Hot Honey and Maple Pecan Pie.

Vimto

Vimto has moved into the energy drinks category, with the launch of its Vimto Energy Tropical Cooler. It contains zero sugar and contains vitamins such as B6 and B12, as well as natural caffeine from green coffee beans.

Boost

Three new flavours of zero sugar energy drinks are now available from Boost. The new lines include Energy Citrus Zest, Dark Fruits, and limited-edition White Peach.

BARR

Barr has launched their new Flava Explosions drinks in Berry Blast and Peach Punch.

Red Bull

In time for spring, Red Bull has launched a new flavour of Cherry Sakura (cherry blossom). It’s said to taste like cherry, sakura, and almond…. Think Cherry Bakewell!

Water Junkie

Functional drinks brand Water Junkie has launched three new functional drinks for hydration and wellness. Made with a blend of mushroom extracts and natural flavourings, in three flavours: Wide Awake, Feel Alive, and Dream.

Eau YES

A new flavoured sparkling water drink, made using unprocessed mineral water sourced from a protected spring on Mount Sannine in Lebanon, Eau YES is the latest drink to hit the shelves. Made with no calories, sugar, or sweeteners, the drinks come in Pineapple Coconut, Raspberry Lime, Lemon, Sour Apple, Pink Grapefruit, and Orange Blossom.

Cawston Press

Press juice brand Cawston Press has launched two new flavoured sparkling waters, made with real pressed fruit juice and sparkling water. Available in Squeezed Lime or Pressed Watermelon.

Capri sun

A new flavour has joined the Capri-Sun line up with the introduction of Mango and Passion Fruit. The 330ml drink comes in a resealable pouch.

Tango

Tango is shaking up the soft drinks category with the launch of Thirst Trap, a zero-sugar drink with peach, orange and tropical pineapple flavour.

Twinings

Twinings has added Revive to their ready to drink sparkling tea range. Made with green tea, peach, apple juice, and an elderflower infusion.

Hotel Chocolat

Hotel Chocolat has created a new drinking chocolate in a limited-edition flavour, designed to be made with their Velvetiser. Called Fire and Ice, the new drinking chocolate is made with 70% dark chocolate that’s blended with Tasmanian peppermint and habanero chilli.
